MS KID FEST
Bo Bice attended and performed. I talked with him for a while after the concert. For the ones that don't know, Bo was second runner up to Carrie Underwood on American Idol back several years ago.

MS KID FEST
My sweet loving wife arriving at the Mississippi Kid Festival on Sunday, April 19th. This was a concert with a lot of southern rock musicians and other bands brought together to benefit Ean Evans and his family. Ean is the bass player with the band Lynyrd Skynyrd and is currently battling cancer.

Madelyn's 6th Birthday Party
I have not updated this blog in a long time. This past Saturday, I went to Pelham, Alabama to enjoy my Granddaughter Madelyn's Birthday Party at the Jump Zone. My Daughter Tammy is expecting a boy in April and his name will be Matthew Tate Stanley. I know she is ready and so are we. Happy Birthday Madelyn, Big Mama and I love you. Tate, we are looking forward to your arrival.

Then & Now
Anita had an old picture of her and John Paul sleeping on the bed when he was three months old and showed it to me and while he spent the past week with us in Georgia in the motorhome he slept with her at night. I woke up one morning and they were still asleep and it looked like the old picture 25 years ago and I couldn't resist taking a new picture because in a lot of ways John Paul will always be our baby.

Anita and me
This is my Beautiful Wife Anita. She has been battling Luekemia since July 2004. She lost her hair sometime around September of 2007. One night she was having a pity party and saying she was ugly because she didn't have any hair. Something just told me to slip to the back room and get the clippers. After I got them, I slipped outside and gave myself a buzz cut and then went back to the bathroom and shaved my head and then back to where she was sitting on the couch in the den and I told her not to complain about not having hair again. She laughed at me so hard, I thought she was going to fall off of the couch. I think she looks just fine like this....
